Medical Billing Software Upgraded
The d.i.d. Circle Organization has announced an upgrade to their medical billing software called Medical Billing Circle. The new update brings the application to version 6.4 and there are a ton of new features. According to d.i.d.

PREFERENCES

A very sophisticated Preferences system has been added to the Medical Billing Circle(tm) program.

MULTI-SPECIALTY CHARGES

Plug-in structure to handle the various requirements of the HCFA national standard format for specialties that have exception records. Radiology, Hospital, Podiatry, Anesthesia, Chiropractic, Ambulance and all specialties have a tab control on the Charges input form that sets the Charge in the format of the required HCFA structure.

CLAIMS TAB CONTROLS

Tab controls organize the Claims in the applicable area for data entry: Work accident, Auto accident, Other accident, Outside lab, Authorization, Hospitalization and Other.

E-MAIL

The E-mail subsystem is now multi-homing. This means that an unlimited number of outgoing and incoming internet connecting accounts can be serviced.

SOURCE SELECTIONS

In the Preferences it is now possible to indicate the program to close the source selection to reduce server load.

FAX CORRESPONDENCE

An interface to faxSTF and WinFAX has been implemented in Correspondence.

JOBS NUMBER OF TIMES

Automatic Jobs are even easier to schedule because the 'Number of times' function can now be used 'global' or 'embedded'.

The update is priced at US$225 for people upgrading from 6.3 to 6.4 while the full version is priced at US$1260. More information and a demo can be found at the company's web site.
