[8:30 AM] Tape Enters Beta Cycle

Public Access Software has released a public beta of the new OS 9 application bundling software, Tape. Tape simplifies the process for developers to make "packages" for use under Apple's newest OS. According to Public Access:

Public Access Software has made available a preview release (beta 1) of its new software Tape.

Tape is a new Macintosh application that will allow anyone to easily create Mac OS 9.0 "packages" from any folder.

The preview release is not fully functional at this time, but will be updated rapidly in the next week to a final point of completion.

Tape is currently capable of creating packages, but other features are more limited or not available in this release.

The full version of Tape is going to be available as shareware for US$10. You can find more information at the Public Access Software web site.
