Trans Intl. Announces Memory For Apple's New G4s.
Trans Intl has announced memory products for the new G4s announced by Apple on Tuesday. According to Trans Intl:

Trans Intl. today announced the worldwide availability of 32 MB, 64 MB, 128 MB , 256 MB and 512 Mb 100 Mhz SDRAM (Maximum Speed Code) DIMMs for Apple's new line of professional PowerMacintosh G4s operating at 400-500 MHz microprocessor speeds and supporting a100 MHz system bus. Trans Intl. memory modules conform to Apple's stringent electrical and mechanical design guidelines and are unbuffered 168-Pin, 3.3v, 64-bit wide, PC-100 SDRAM DIMM complaint operating at a100 MHz bus speed (the fastest memory technology available). The SDRAM modules are built with 64 Mbit ,128 Mbit, 256 Mb SDRAM components, 32, 64 and 128 Mb (64 Mbit SDRAMs) , 256 Mb Module with (128 Mbit SDRAM) and 512 Mb Module with (256 Mbit SDRAM).

Maximizing G4s with Trans Intl PC-100 Maximum Speed Code (2-2-2) SDRAM DIMMs enables users to take full advantage of the "supercomputer on a chip" performance of the latest technological innovations in Apple PowerMac G4s equipped with the velocity engine. Digital Video professionals, Photoshop users, Internet publishers, scientists and engineers will all benefit from the power and price/performance that these systems deliver. New PowerMacintosh G4s have 4 memory expansion slots for main memory expansion. The system can be upgraded, up to 1.5 GB maximum.
