MacPuyo Arcade Game Updated
The folks at Liquid Metal Software have updated their arcade game for the Mac called MacPuyo. The update is a minor one that offers a bug fix and a couple of new features. According to Liquid Metal Software:

Liquid Metal Software has released MacPuyo 1.2. This new version includes several minor bug fixes, the option to run in a window (which makes it much easier to switch between apps, in case the boss wanders by), and adds a new feature in multiplayer.

MacPuyo is a puzzle/arcade game similar to Tetris and other "falling-object" games. The goal is to position the falling blobs so the blobs of the same color are touching. When you form a group of four or more, they will disappear. This will increase your score in the single player game, or cause metallic blobs to be dropped on your opponent in the multiplayer game.

In conjunction, Liquid Metal Software has extended it's GrabPac Giveaway Draw till September 15th. Register MacPuyo by then and your name will be automatically entered. (The draw is retroactive, so if you've already registered, you are already entered.)

The update is free to registered users. The full version is prices at US$15. You can find more information on MacPuyo at the company's web site The site is framed, so we can not link directly to the FAQ page, but that is where you will find the information.
