Apple Releases visionOS 26.6 Developer Beta 1 for Vision Pro

Apple has released visionOS 26.6 developer beta 1 for the Apple Vision Pro, starting a fresh round of testing ahead of WWDC 2026. The update arrives alongside the first developer betas for iOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.6, tvOS 26.6, watchOS 26.6, and HomePod 26.6.

This new beta wave comes less than two weeks before Apple officially unveils visionOS 27 and other next-generation software updates during WWDC on June 8.

How to update visionOS 26.6 beta 1

If your Apple Vision Pro is already enrolled in the developer beta program, you can install the update using these steps:

  • Open Settings
  • Go to General
  • Tap Software Update
  • Select Beta Updates
  • Download and install visionOS 26.6 Developer Beta 1

Make sure your headset has enough battery and remains connected to Wi-Fi during installation.

Right now, Apple has not shared any official release notes detailing new features or major changes in visionOS 26.6 beta 1. Early testing also has not revealed any major additions so far.

At the moment, this update appears to focus mainly on bug fixes, performance improvements, and system stability before Apple shifts attention to visionOS 27 at WWDC next month.

We are currently testing the update and will report back if any hidden features, interface tweaks, or Vision Pro improvements are discovered.

Apple’s WWDC 2026 keynote is scheduled for June 8, where the company is expected to preview visionOS 27 alongside iOS 27, macOS 27, and more.

If you’ve already installed the update, let us know your experience in the comments.
