NVIDIA Jetson Nano is a $99 AI Computer You Can Buy

NVIDIA is releasing a US$99 AI computer called the Jetson Nano aimed at “developers, makers and enthusiasts” (via NVIDIA).

The Jetson Nano has a 128-core Maxwell-based GPU and quad-core ARM A57 processor, which the company claims can deliver 472 gigaflops of processing power for neural networks. And it only consumes 5 watts of power.

It runs Linux and supports a range of AI frameworks. There are two other Jetson models that are more expensive: the Jetson TX2 from US$299 to US$749, and the Jetson AGX Xavier at US$1,099.

You can preorder the Nano and the estimated shipping data is by the end of March.
