Pixelmator Pro was teased earlier this fall, and now it’s here. The professional image editing app for the Mac was released on Wednesday with features like fully non-destructive edits and machine learning-assisted editing.

Pixelmator Pro’s non-destructive editing system lets you undo any changes you make to an image in any order. For example, you can undo a color adjustment you made yesterday while leaving all the edits you made after that intact.

The built-in machine learning engine uses artificial intelligence to more accurately recognize different elements in your images. It can automatically name layers based on their contents, find the horizon in photos and straighten the image, identify elements for more accurate selections, remove objects from a shot and intelligently fill in the empty space, and more.

The app also includes powerful painting tools with over 100 brushes, Dynamic Paint Blending technology, improved color adjustments, Raw image support, smart space guides, text editing tools, macOS High Sierra Metal 2 support, and more.

Pixelmator Pro also sports a single window interface so your tool palettes won’t get lost on your display. The app requires macOS High Sierra and a Metal-compatible graphics card, which includes 2012 and later iMac, Mac mini, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro models, 2015 and later MacBook models, and 2013 and later Mac Pro models.

Pixelmator Pro is priced at US$59.99 and is available on Apple’s Mac App Store.
