Under the banner of the Coalition for the American Dream, the business leaders urged “the new Congress to act immediately and pass bipartisan, permanent legislative solution to enable Dreamers who are currently living, work and contributing to our communities to continue to do so.”

“American employers and hundreds of thousands of Dreamers are counting on you to pass bipartisan, permanent legislative protection for Dreamers without further delay,” the letter added (via CNBC).

Mr. Cook was joined by other tech CEOs in singing the letter. Tech signatories included Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Google’s Sundar Pichai, and Twitter’s Jack Dorsey. The business leaders published the letter as a full-page advert in Monday’s New York Times.
