Technical analysis of stocks is, in basic terms, a way of analyzing/measuring the price movement of a given stock. Standard tools like “Moving averages” and others provide the measurement which then is “interpreted” as positive/negative. It can get very complicated and sophisticated but at its core it is measuring price movement.
