    You can choose different servers for the test, preferably the one closest to you in order to obtain more accurate results.

    The DSL Reports speed test appears to focus on Buffer Bloat which can be a non issue for many users. Not sure what percentage of routers offer Quality of Service (QoS) settings (maybe 30%) to address the Buffer Bloat issue. Unless you have house full of data users, Buffer Bloat is not worth spending money on a new router to address a issue that may not be a problem for you. Just my perspective on where the focus of DSL Reports Speed Test is, really Buffer Bloat Test.
