  • I think if we could go from the Wright brothers to a man on the moon in 50 yrs, we can bring back manufacturing to America in 10 or 20 years.

It’s the philosophy of “you don’t have to be a butcher to smell bad meat.” A four year old doesn’t need a degree in chemistry or cooking to know that rotten meat is nasty and you stay away from it. Likewise, someone with a basic level of sanity and education can look around at America, and come to the conclusion that if we dedicate ourselves to achieving it, yes we can bring manufacturing back here.

Whether it involves robotics, or importing a mini city full of skilled labor, or whatever else, sure we just need to put our minds to it, and we can achieve it if we really want to. And because we are in the USA, we have a track record of doing great things. Even to the point of bringing the manufacturing home AND making good money by doing it.
