The photos show how colorful the new version of the Cube is, and it’s reflective, too, though this effect is temporary.
Apple’s glass cube retail store on Fifth Avenue is reopening, and it’s bedecked with rainbows to celebrate.
A filming crew was posted outside the cube, grabbing shots of passers-by photographing themselves with the new design. One of the crew members told Quartz they were filming “a new commercial” for Apple about the relaunched store, but wouldn’t go into any further detail.
I think it looks great.

The Apple Fifth Avenue store in New York City is set to reopen in the first half of 2019, says management of the company that owns the property.
Apple shuttered the Manhattan store in 2017 in order to renovate and increase the size of the store, but it has been unclear exactly when to expect it will reopen to the public. According to John Powers, CEO of Boston Properties, the re-opening is not far off.
The cube store is iconic so it will be good to see it up and running again.
Apple’s Fifth Avenue store in New York should move back into its original location in November 2018 if remodeling finishes on schedule.
