· John Martellaro · Background Mode Podcast

Josh Centers on Background Mode.

Josh Centers is the Managing Editor of Tidbits.com and has published many Take Control (TC) books. He’s the author of Take Control of Apple TV and Take Control of Home Automation. He’s been writing the Take Control books for iOS since version 8, and his latest book is Take Control iOS 13 and iPadOS 13.

We finished by wondering what new thing Apple might do in 2020.

Forget Foldable iPhones. How About Foldable MacBooks?

· John Martellaro · Link

Dennis Sellers at AppleWorld.Today offers an intriguimg proposition.

We hear rumors about upcoming iPhones with foldable screen. But what about Macs with bendable displays. Imagine a MacBook Pro with a screen that measured 13-inches when you’re, for example, on an airplane. Get to your hotel room, however, and you can unfold it to 17 inches or bigger.

Author Sellers makes a good case.

Two USB-C Ports on a MacBook Air is Absolutely Ridiculous

· John Martellaro · Editorial

2018 MacBook Air.

Apple puts four USB-C Ports on a MacBook Pro to make us believe that it’s a “pro” machine. The trouble is, we all do the same things with ports on a MacBook Air which only has two ports. This crippling is all very callous and manipulative by Apple.
