MeWe, which presents itself as a privacy social network, launched dual-camera videos and a new feature called MeWe Stories.
MeWe is a private social network I’ve reviewed before, and the company announced some new premium features today.
Private social network MeWe has reached six million members in 2019 and was named the Best Entrepreneurial Company for this year.
MeWe expects over 100 million members by the end of 2020, having achieved 405% growth in 2018 and growing twice as fast on a daily basis in 2019. 60% of MeWe’s traffic is international and 35% of members are active—exceeding industry standards.
I’ll be honest, I haven’t used MeWe since I reviewed it. But I’ll gladly promote alternatives to Facebook, especially if privacy is the number one focus.
MeWe is a social network with privacy in mind, and it recently surpassed 5 million members. Additionally it closed a US$4.5 million offering, bringing the company’s total funds raised to US$15 million.
MeWe is on track to have 30 million members by yearend, and projects 150 million by the end of 2020. MeWe achieved 405% growth in 2018 and is already growing twice as fast on a daily basis in 2019. MeWe’s growth is organic—it runs no paid marketing campaigns.
It’s good to see MeWe doing well. I don’t use it anymore, but I still recommend it to people looking for a private social network.
MeWe, a social network that champions privacy (and no ads) announced recently that it has surpassed 4 million members.
There are no ads—targeted or otherwise—and no tracking users of any kind, such as data mining.
It doesn’t own, track, or share information that users provide. And there are no ads.
