Have you ever wondered why your iPhone is so slow when compared to someone else’s? There could be a couple of reasons for this. If you want to get to the root of the issue then you can find out everything you want to know, here.
Update your iOS
There are so many updates out right now for iPhones. Some of them have bugs, so if you have not updated to the latest version yet then now is certainly the time for you to change that. If your iPhone is very old then your phone might not be able to support the latest update, but either way, you should update it as much as you can. If you do then you are bound to see an increase in speed and you may even find that your iPhone runs more efficiently too. It should be noted that IOS 13 is a blockbuster update, and if your iPhone is only just able to support it, then you may be better off leaving it entirely. The main reason for this is because huge updates might slow your phone down because they come with so many new features. Sometimes updating your iOS can speed up your internet as well, so if you play games, like the ones on New York spins then this will help you out.
Restart your iPhone
Another piece of advice would be for you to actively try and close down any apps that you don’t use. If you do, then you will find that your phone runs much faster as a result. If you are not quite sure how to close down your apps or if you just feel as though it is not going to work then it may be an idea for you to restart your iPhone. You shouldn’t have to do this very often, but it can fix unruly apps.
Kill Automatic Processes
The Low Data mode will stop apps from using any kind of data in the background. On IOS 13, you can stop some of the background processes from running, relatively easily. The new Low Data Mode is ideal for that. It will stop automatic downloads and it also means that emails won’t be retrieved automatically. If you are able to do this then you will be able to speed up your iPhone without difficulty at all. If you don’t know how to turn on low-data mode then you need to tap mobile data under settings, and then turn on data options. You will then be able to tap on the slider to stop any kind of background process.
Turn down the Graphics
IOS 7 introduced some very fancy and luxurious effects, but if you are able to dial them down then this can really improve your performance overall. Start by turning off Motion if you can. You can do this under Accessibility and then Reduce Motion. This turns off some of the effects you get when checking alerts and it can also help you to make the most out of your iPhone in general. If you are having a hard time with this then you may be able to alter some other settings instead.
