The Mac Observer’s Favorite Podcasts for Entertainment

I thought it would be fun to put together a list of our favorite podcasts we all listen to during the day. Although we don’t listen to them while we work, they’re great to listen to afterwards.

Dave Hamilton

Three podcasts Dave listens to are Under the Scales, the Bob Lefsetz podcast, and Penn’s Sunday School. Under the Scales and Bob Lefsetz are music podcasts, while Penn’s Sunday School discusses religious news, monkeys, and anything else that seems funny or makes us mad.

Kelly Guimont

Kelly is a fan of Welcome to Night Vale, a show consisting of community updates for a small town; 80’s All Over, a movie podcast reliving the 80’s via film one month at a time; and The Carson Podcast, which is people talking about their interactions with Johnny Carson, both on and off the show.

Bryan Chaffin & John Martellaro

Both Bryan and John are busy people and don’t listen to podcasts very often. But when they do they listen to podcasts by The Mac Observer, which include Apple Context Machine, Background Mode, Daily Observations, and Mac Geek Gab.

Andrew Orr

Andrew is an avid lister of podcasts and his three favorites include Last Podcast on the Left, Battlestar Galacticast, and In Defense of Plants. Last Podcast covers all the horrors our world has to offer both imagined and real, from demons and slashers to cults and serial killers.

Battlestar Galacticast is a sort of director’s commentary of Battlestar Galactica (new series) with guests from the show. Finally, In Defense of Plants is a show for plant enthusiasts, with plant scientists from around the world chatting about the world’s flora.
