Apple announced on its .Mac blog that it has improved Web browser access to iDisk Public folders. Entering the ULR idisk.mac.com/membername-Public (replace membername with the .Mac memberis user name) in a Web browser shows the contents of the Public folder, complete with links to download files. The new browser-based service also supports uploading files and password protection. You can manage iDisk read/write and password access via the .Mac Preference Pane.
