The American Society of Cinematographers and Avid Technologies will host a discussion this Saturday at the NAB conference in Las Vegas. The topic of discussion is creating metadata standards for film and video that encompasses hardware and software interoperability. Using metadata information, visual effects work and asset management can be streamlined from project to project because of the repeatability based from the metadata information.
