Adobe Backs User Group University

The MUG Center has a host of important announcements this week, including Adobeis participation in the User Group University series. Along with Adobeis support, the MacEvangeList World Tour is under way, and organizers are hoping to stop at each and every User Group location. According to the MUG Center:

USER GROUP UNIVERSITY UPDATE: Adobe is again sponsoring a newsletter and web site contest for all groups represented at User Group University! Each Newsletter Editor who enters their groupis publication gets a Certificate of Appreciation and a gift. Enter now!

Apple User Group Program Manager Garr Reynolds will be visiting several user groups along with the MacOS X Tour. Upcoming dates include MacNexus (June 20) and Arizona Macintosh User Group (June 21). Check The MUG Event Calendar for other dates and tour stops of Appleis MacOS X User Group Tour.

The MacEvangeList World Tour is being planned and your group could be a featured tour stop! Shane Anderson offers to either just visit or can speak about what it is like to run one of the most influential Mac mailing lists in the community. Oh, and they want to throw a big Mac EvangeList Party at each destination.

MACWORLD UPDATE: "An Introduction To Macintosh User Groups" conference has been added to the MacBeginnings conference track.

MACWORLD UPDATE: Macintosh User Group members will again serve as volunteer guides for Expo. Details and how to volunteer are available.
