Amateur Radio App Updated

Black Cat Systems has updated their popular, and versatile, amateur radio program, MultiMode. Version 3.8.0 of allows users to transmit a variety of communication types, including Morse Code, and send data to other applications for processing. According to Black Cat Systems:

Black Cat Systems has released version3.8.0 of MultiMode, a program for amateur radio operators and radiohobbyists that allows the transmission and reception of morse code, slowscan TV, and other modes.

The latest version of MultiMode adds the ability to have MultiMode senddecoded data to other applications for additional processing, via a TCP/IPconnection. It also adds the ability to demodulate OSCAR 40 satellitetelemetry transmissions in MPSK mode.

MultiMode is a shareware application which allows your Macintosh to decodeand transmit several different modes of non-voice communication often heardon shortwave and ham radio. It is the only program of its kind for theMacintosh,rivaling commercial packages for the PC platform costing hundredsof dollars. It is ideal for amateur radio operators, shortwave radiolisteners, and other radio enthusiasts. MultiMode is localized for forDutch, French, German, Italian, and Spanish, in addition to English.
