Apimac Updates Address Book With New Alarm Features

Apimac has released an update for Apimac Address Book, bringing it to version 5.4. Apimac Address Book is a telephone and address utility designed for Internet applications. The update adds expanded alarm features and bug fixes. According to Apimac:

Apimac is pleased to announce Apimac Address Book 5.4, the latest release of its telephone and address application, fully integrated with Internet and Mac OS X.

New in this version is an Event alarm and a Recurrences window for Birthday and Anniversary days, which can be personalized at Preferences.

From the Recurrences window users can easily convey messages of greetings or good wishes to a selected contact via e-mail, or phone him/her.

Also new is the support for dots as wild characters in searches.

On the maintenance part, there are just a few minor bug fixes: contact database aliases are now drag & drop compatible, the Display Cards setting at Preferences is honored, amongst others.

You can find more information about the latest Apimac Address Book release at the Web site. The 5.4 release is free for current users, while the full version is available for US$19.99.
