App Helps Users Make Their Own QuickTime Movies

Chaotic Software has released a new version of their easy movie making application, QuickMovie. Version 1.3 allows users to quickly and easily create a QuickTime movie from a series of still images. According to Chaotic Software:

  • Added support for making cross-platform movies (e.g. playable on Windows machines).
  • Fixed list selection problem on Mac OS X.
  • A background color can now be selected for the movie.
  • Fixed problem where registration information was not always being saved.

QuickMovie is an application that creates QuickTime movies from a series ofimages, allowing you to create fixed sized movies or have the size of themovie reflect the size of the largest image in the series. Advanced optionsinclude the ability scale images to the movie size, specify how many imagesare displayed per second, choose from any available QuickTime compressionmethod, and much more! QuickMovie supports every image format supported byQuickTime 3.0 or later, which includes JPEG, GIF, Photoshop, PICT, and manyothers. QuickMovie is fully compatible with Mac OS 8.0 or later, and Mac OSX.
