In addition to the QuickTime 6.3 and iSync 1.1 updates, Apple also released an update to Bluetooth, bringing it to version 1.2.1. The software allows a Bluetooth equipped Mac (either built-in, or through a supported Bluetooth adapter) to communicate with Bluetooth phones, printers, PDAs, and other Bluetooth devices. The update includes support for three news phone, two from Nokia and a new phone from Sony Ericsson. The description from Apple:
Bluetooth 1.2.1 provides enhanced stability and support for the following Symbian OS based mobile phones: Nokia 3650, Nokia 7650, and Sony Ericsson P800. Bluetooth 1.2.1 is recommended for use with iSync 1.1.
Make sure to note the note about needing the new iSync update. You can download the update through the Software Update Control Panel in Mac OS X. As of this writing, the company has not put a standalone installer on the Bluetooth Web site, though you can get more information on Bluetooth in general at that Web page.
