On the day it announced it will ship the newest version of its operating system April 29, Apple also debuted a bundled suite of Mac OS X 10.4 along with iLife and iWork for US$249 -- a savings of $38 compared to buying all three products individually.
The suite includes Mac OS X 10.4 iTigeri, Life i05, featuring iPhoto 5, iMovie HD, iDVD 4, GarageBand 2 and iTunes 4.7.1, and Work i05, featuring KeyNote 2 and Pages.
Individually, the three software products would retail for $287.
The new bundle will only be available directly from Apple either by phone or through its online store until May 31.
