Apple Checks out the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference

Four Apple employees are at the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference taking place in Seattle this week. CNET writer Joris Evers quoted hardware technology group manager David Harrington as saying: "I am attending WinHEC to keep tabs on what is happening in the industry and what Microsoft is looking to do over the next year." He declined to elaborate.

Mr. Evers speculated that Apple has employees at the conference because of Boot Camp, Beta software released last month that enables Intel Mac owners to run Windows.
