Apple Store Coming to Germany

Apple is planning on expanding its retail sector again by opening several retail stores in Germany. According to the German business journal, FinanzNachrichten, Apple has already registered Apple Retail Germany GmbH as a corporation in Munich, and is likely to open stores there, as well as Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin.

Moving into Germany would mark Appleis first foray onto the European continent with its brick-and-mortar stores. Currently, Apple has retail locations in the U.S., U.K., Canada and Japan.
