Apple To Reintroduce A US$799 iMac To The Market

ZDNet is reporting (MacMinute actually broke the story earlier in the morning) that Apple is quietly reintroducing a US$799 iMac to the market. This unit has been available to the education market for some time, but Apple is now making it available to retailers as well. The specs of the machine as published by MacMinute:

The system is an Indigo-colored, 500MHz, G3-based system with 512K L2 cache at 200MHz, 64MB of memory, 20GB Ultra ATA Drive, CD-ROM, RAGE 128 Pro w/8MB and a 56K fax modem.
