ArKaos has released a new version of ArKaos VJ, bringing it to version 3.0. ArKaos VJ is a multimedia presentation app designed for visual artists working with live video and music. The new version is improved in all areas. The performances have seen a dramatic increase by using Altivec and SSE2 technologies. The real-time engine is now also working in 32 bits mode (millions of colors). Integration with music sequencer is now possible thanks to the support of ReWire.
The new version of the Arkaos VJ3.0 features many new and exciting functions, such as real-time video stream from USB, FireWire and acquisition boards. Thanks to the new transfer modes it can layer simultaneously multiple animations using Chroma or Luma keying. A new flash text module can display editable text effects.
