ArcSoft on Thursday released a Mac OS X v10.4 version of VideoImpression 2, its software for creating home movies out of video clips, pictures and music, with the ability to add special effects. Users can directly import video and photos from devices connected to the computer, trim footage from video clips, enhance photos, record narration, insert scene transitions and text credits and more.
VideoImpression 2 is US$49.99. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2, a 400MHz G4 processor, 128MB RAM (256MB recommended), 500MB free hard drive space and QuickTime 6.0.
