Archive Updated With UTF-8 And MacRoman Encoding

YENCO.COM has released an update for Archive, bringing it to version 5.1.7. Archive is a cataloging and search app designed for finding file locations and information. The update features expanded coding support and new viewing options. According to YENCO.COM:

YENCO.COM is proud to announce the release Archive 5.1.7.

Archive enables you to quickly catalog your disks and then when you need to find a file, just type in what you are looking for and it will return a list of all files that match your search criteria, what disks the files can be found on, and even detailed information about the files. No more time-wasting disk shuffle.

This update adds UTF-8 & MacRoman encoding to more reliably handle option characters in Mac OS X catalogs and modifies disk indentification, browse mode display, search result display, file & folder search commands, file details and old catalogs to use the new encoding.

Archive 5.1.7 also adds the option to double click in the disk overview list to bring up the browse mode for the selected disk.

You can find more information about the Archive update at the YENCO.COM Web site. Archive 5.1.7 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$20.00.
