AskTheDJ Updated With New Track Browser

The Wild Bits have released an update for AskTheDJ, bringing it to version 1.4. AskTheDJ is a utility designed for automatically synching transitions between audio music tracks. The update features a new track browser and expands foreign language support. According to The Wild Bits:

The Wild Bits releases AskTheDJ version 1.4.

Ask The DJ is a $29 shareware which analyses beats to perform truly seamless transitions between tracks. Like a real DJ, it matches beats and adapts tempos whenever needed so the music always flows, even when cross-fading between tracks with different bpms. Ask The DJ also cuts unrhythmical intros and outros, and levels volume. Better yet, all this is done automatically.

This new version includes a new tracks browser, works with Unicode (Japanese script support) and includes a French version.

You can find more information about the AskTheDJ update at the MacMusic Web site. The AskTheDJ update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$29.00.
