Aspyr Media has announced that on Friday it will release a free eight-pack of maps for use with the World War II-based first-person shooter Call of Duty: United Offensive. Six of them update original Call of Duty maps with support for the Capture the Flag and Domination game modes and the other two are brand new. The maps will be available through MacGameFiles.
United Offensive is an expansion pack for Call of Duty that features 13 new single-player missions and 11 new multiplayer maps and three new multiplayer game modes, as well as the ability to jump in tanks, jeeps and even a bomber. The suggested retail price is US$29.99, and Call of Duty, which sells for $49.99, is required to play.
