Black Cat Adds Koch Method To Morse Tutor

Black Cat Systems has released an update for Morse Mania, bringing it to version 2.3.0. Morse Mania is a Morse code tutor designed for ham radio enthusiasts. The update includes the Koch Method of Morse code study. According to Black Cat Systems:

Black Cat Systems announces that Morse Mania version 2.3.0 has been released and is now available. This version adds the Koch Method of morse code study, were you learn one letter at a time at full speed, rather than learning all the letters first at a slow speed, and then try to increase your speed proficiency.

Morse Mania is a morse code tutor for the Macintosh. The software package helps you learn morse code at speeds ranging from 5 to 30 words per minute. Morse Mania is ideal for amateur (ham) radio operators who desire to learn or improve their morse code proficiency, especially in order to upgrade their license class.

In addition to drills to help learn the various characters, Morse Mania also allows complete text files to be sent, so that "real life" messages can be used for practice.

You can find more information about the Morse Mania update at the Black Cat Systems Web site. Morse Mania 2.3.0 is available for US$19.99.
