Bob LeVitus At Long Island MUG Meeting Tonight

L IMac, a MUG based in Long Island, will be featuring Bob LeVitus at its general meeting to be held tonight at the New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury Campus. The event kicks off at 7:00 PM EST, tonight. Mr. LeVitus will be hawking his latest Mac book, and always offers a very entertaining presentation. LIMac features several Special Interest Groups including: Beginners, Internet, Mac Help, Multimedia, Photography and Photoshop/Desktop Publishing, and the group tells us that its meetings normally get at least 100 attendees. The November 8th general meeting of LIMac will feature special guest Bob "Dr. Mac" LeVitus. Bob describes himself as, "a writer, raconteur, and Macintosh consultant" who "mostly … fool[s] around with a variety of Mac OS computers and software." He has written for almost every publication which has the word "Mac" in its title; has authored 37 computer books including Dr. Macintosh, Second Edition, Mac OS X for Dummies and The Little iTunes Book; writes a weekly column called "Dr. Mac" appearing in the Houston Chronicle, and is the editor of the OS X FAQ web site a "technical news and support [site] for OS X."
