Norbert M. Doerner has released an update for CDFinder, bringing it to version 3.6.3. CDFinder is a cataloging app designed for the file management of hard disks, DVDis and MP3is. The update features performance enhancements including improved Jaguar support and bug fixes. According to Norbert M. Doerner:
The author today announced the immediate availability of CDFinder 3.6.3.
CDFinder is a very fast and powerful tool to catalog your hard disks, CD-ROMs, DVDs, floppies, ZIPs and anything else that spins. It has a great user interface and very useful search functions.
New in CDFinder 3.6.3:
- The Windows menu has been updated to work in Jaguar (Mac OS X 10.2)
- CDFinder now reads the new MP3-Tag "Composer" that was introduced in iTunes 3.0
- CDFinder can now import existing Disk Recall 1.2.8 catalogs, giving those users a migration path to Mac OS X (as there is no Mac OS X version of Disk Recall)
- The Setup Assistant has a new language menu in the first page to allow a direct switch to a different language in CDFinder
- A few minor display problems in Mac OS X are solved
You can find more information about the CDFinder update at the CDFinder Web site. CDFinder 3.6.3 is available for US$25.00.
