Canto Updates Cumulus With Improved Stability And More Languages

Canto released an update for Cumulus, bringing it to version 6.0.1. Cumulus is an asset management system designed to assemble loose files from a database. The update features improved stability in OS X and expanded language support. According to Canto:

Canto, a global leader in Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions, today announced the immediate availability of Cumulus 6.0.1 (myCumulus, Single User and Workgroup), with a built-in multilingual capability.

This is also the first release of Canto’s newly designed version 6 family in French and German. This release encompasses the Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and Solaris platforms.

Canto’s constant upgrades and updates of its software in the Cumulus product line are driven by its commitment to its users. In line with this, Cumulus 6.0.1 boasts greater stability and improved performance, especially on the Mac OS X 10.2.8 platform. ODBC connector for Windows is now also available for this updated version.

Additionally, updated Cumulus Options will also be released in conjunction with this version. These include Vault, URL AssetStore, PDF AssetStore and Office Suite. Viewer will be released at the end of this week as a native Cumulus 6 Option, while Internet Client Pro, Web Publisher Pro and HELIOS Companion are already available as Cumulus 6 compatible Options. Demo versions of the new native Options are part of the application installer, they simply need to be activated and can then be tested
