Captain FTP 4.2 Includes Automation Manager, More

Xnet Communications has released Captain FTP 4.2, a new version of its FTP utility that features Automation Manager, which enables users to specify the date and time they want to transfer certain files and/or folders. In addition, Captain FTP users on a local area network (LAN) can now trade files between each other. Other changes include compatibility with Bonjour, which Apple used to call Rendezvous, enhancements to the user interface, bug fixes and more.

This is a free update for users with upgrade protection; all others will need to pay US$19 to update their software, or $29 with upgrade protection. The full software is $25, or $34 with upgrade protection. Upgrade protection, which provides 12 months of free updates, is $15 for users who already have Captain FTP and want to add it to their licenses.
