Castle Computers Showcasing Filmmakers And 10.2

C astle Computers is hosting a celebration marking the release of OS 10.2 with an Expo and Film Showcase highlighting pieces "Made With Mac." Three filmmakers from the New York area will be showing films prior to the "Midnight Madness" sale featuring the new OS. According to Castle Computers:

Castle Computers, a 21 year old Apple Specialist and leading provider of sales, support, and service to the Macintosh user community, today announced that it will be celebrating the release of Mac OS X v10.2 with the first annual "Made With Mac" Expo and Film Showcase, and a Mac OS 10.2 "Midnight Madness" sale.

In celebration of the Macintosh operating system, the first annual "Made With Mac" expo will feature Upstate New York artists, filmmakers, graphic designers, webmasters, and musicians who will showcase works created on and inspired by the Apple Macintosh platform.

Castle Computers has assembled three of the most talented Upstate NY filmmakers to screen projects created or edited on the Apple Macintosh platform.

  • Telly Award winning John Holser, a New York State Broadcasteris "Best in the State" award winner, will be showing a preview of his much anticipated documentary, "Lights, Camera & Credit Cards" which documents the behind the scenes journey of eight independent filmmakers
  • The Masucci Brothers, voted "Best Local Film Maker" three years running by the readers of Metroland, will be screening their most recent film, "Murphyis Law"
  • J.D Funari will screen his latest digital short film, "Evening Message," which has been called "required viewing for any grass-roots filmmaker" by FilmThreat.com
