Creo To Demo Scanner Line From The Bay

Creo Inc. will be demonstrating the EverSmart and iQsmart line of scanners at Macworld this week. The EverSmart line is designed for the graphics professionals while the iQsmart line is an affordable alternative. In addition to the demos, Creo will release a an update for oXYgen, the driver designed to enhance scanning production. According to Creo:

Creo Inc. is demonstrating complete scanning solutions for creative professionals at the Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco. Creo is exhibiting the EverSmart(tm) and iQsmart(tm) scanners, as well as the oXYgen scanning software that enhances scanning production. The iQsmart scanner won the 2002 Electronic Publishing "Hot Product" award.

Four advanced scanner models are being demonstrated at Macworld San Francisco: the renowned EverSmart scanners for the most demanding productivity needs and the new affordable iQsmart scanners.

All models use the most advanced scanning technologies in the market. New version 2.2 of the oXYgen scanning application is being demonstrated for all the scanners, featuring enhanced batch scanning, improved productivity and full Mac OS® X support. The oXYgen scanning application is now also available for the Windows® operating system for use with the well-priced iQsmart2 scanner.

The iQsmart3 scanner features true optical resolution up to 5500 dpi from edge to edge. XY Stitch scanning technology assures consistent quality through sharper imaging. The iQsmart3 model scans up to 96 35mm slides at one time and produces up to 40 scans per hour. The scanneris compact size allows for an inverted CCD that is uniquely positioned to minimize dust and improve image quality. The iQsmart scans any type of original with high-quality results. High-quality scanning now can be done in-house at high volumes, minimizing job turnaround time.
