Ambrosia Software, makes of such Macintosh shareware games as Escape Velocity, Goo Ball and Apeiron, have released version 1.2.2 of Darwinia, its virtual tribe simulation game in which users must save the systems of Darwinia from being wiped out by the evil Viral Infection.
The new version, a 32.2 MB download, makes the following changes to the game:
- New selection box system
- Better radar dish behavior
- Task manager improvements
- Level editor improvements
- Various bug fixes and speedups
Darwinia is available for a US$29 shareware registration fee and requires a Power Macintosh with a G3 processor or faster running Mac OS X 10.2 or later to run.
