There are lots of great articles, and some really bad ones, on the Internet. Though we link to all of them at MacOS News Around The Web, some of them deserve special mention here. Most of what we will mention within these pages will be among the best, but on occasion we will talk about articles that are so bad or so wrong we just have to say something. Consider them mini-editorials on our part about things we think you might also be interested in.

Best [3:00 PM] Arizona Central: Mac Reality Check - Introducing the year 2010 Mac
It is always fun to peak into the future, or try to, and figure out what our lives are going to look like. Many of the things that we thought impossible or far fetched just 5 years ago are now realistic commonplace. This article examines what your future Macintosh might be like, and how are lives may be effected by it. Our favorite quote from this piece:

You enter your den and your arrival is sensed. The large, wall-mounted widescreen plasma display lights up, and you see the familiar Welcome to Mac OS XV message on the screen.

I want a plasma display. Reviewer - Kyle DiAddario

Best [3:00 PM] MacMilitia - Oni...Half the Game, Twice the Wait
When Bungie demonstrated Halo at the 1999 MACWORLD NY Expo, members of The Mac Observer staff were literally speechless...the game seemed to be that impressive. Bungie also had another project cooking, Oni. Here we are a year and a half later, and Oni is finally "ready" for release. Well, sort of. After playing the demo, the controls are awkward, and the lack of multiplayer support is a deal-breaker. This game had, and has, so much potential, but isnit quite there yet. Actually, sounds a lot like OS X...anyway, our favorite quote from the article:

Donit get me wrong, as I got used to it, it got a little easier, but I still come up with combos that leaving me saying "Now how the heck did I do that?" During fight encounters with more than one opponent I find myself getting lost and looking the wrong way which, needless to say, gets me dead in a hurry.

Iill stick with UT and Q3, thankyouverymuch. Reviewer - Kyle DiAddario
