Deep Sky Technologies, Inc. has released an update for Athenaeums, bringing it to version 1.2.1. Athenaeums is a utility designed for archiving EIMS documents. The latest release features expanded ending support and EIMS fixes. According to Deep Sky Technologies:
Deep Sky Technologies, Inc., today announced the release of Athenaeums v1.2.1 for MacOS 9 and MacOS X.
Athenaeums is an EIMS filter for archiving of standard EIMS log documents, specifically the error log, mail log, sending error log, and console log.
When the Athenaeums filter is first installed and EIMS is first launched, the filter will create a preferences document. This preferences document contains default settings for options in the Athenaeums filter.
This latest release of Athenaeums fixes a couple of bugs in the popular EIMS filter.
The upgrade release of Athenaeums contains support for alternative log file ending delimiters, with either CR or LF combinations now being supported in all log documents for line endings. Also, a couple of corrections have been made to the handling of aliases in document names and paths.
You can find more information about the Athenaeums update at the Deep Sky Technology Web site. The Athenaeums update is free for registered users, while full version pricing starts at US$30.00.
