According to Buena Software, Inc.:

Buena Software, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Effects Pack 3 v2.0.1. This release is a maintenance update to our popular set of QuickTime effect plug-ins.

Effects Pack 3 includes several Hollywood style compositing effects that allow you to realistically combine pieces of video to achieve the same special effects as big-budget movie studios. It also includes several other powerful and interesting plug-ins, including Filter Factory which allows you to create your own effects and Fractal which generates intriguing mathematical images. You also get the Motion plug-in for panning and zooming on still images, just like in many documentaries.

Included in this release is a fix for a bug that causes a potential crash in the Difference Matte filter, and a fix for better support for MacOS 8.6 and non-G4 based machines.

You can find more information about the Effects Packs at the Buena Software Web site. Each Effects Pack is available for US$30.00.
