Dr. Bott Shipping New iPod Adapters

Dr. Bott is now shipping two new products for Mac users, the PocketDock Combo and the PocketDock Line Out. The PocketDock Combo is an adapter designed for connecting both USB and FireWire connections to Appleis iPod. PocketDock Line Out is an adapter designed for connecting both FireWire and audio stereo jack lines from and iPod for improved audio quality. According to Dr. Bott:

Dr. Bott is proud to announce the immediate availability of PocketDock Combo and PocketDock Line Out, the newest products in the famous PocketDock line from SendStation Systems.

PocketDock Combo offers USB and FireWire ports in a package hardly larger than the original PocketDock. It accepts industry-standard USB cables and 6-pin FireWire cables, allowing the user to connect to Macintosh and Windows systems at will using one convenient adapter.

Also announced today, the new PocketDock Line Out offers the same 6-pin FireWire connector as the original PocketDock, but adds an industry-standard 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo jack for high-quality audio output. The stereo jack connects directly to the iPodis line level circuitry, bypassing the iPodis headphone amplifier for optimal sound quality when connecting to an external amplifier or stereo system.

You can find more information about the PocketDock Combo and the PocketDock Line Out at the Dr. Bott Web site. The PocketDock Combo is available for US$22.95, and the PocketDock Line Out is available for US$29.95.
