Edirol Corporation is now shipping the FA-101 10x10 FireWire Audio interface for Mac users. The FA-101 10x10 FireWire Audio interface is a device designed for capturing audio streams through FireWire connections. The FA-101 is a single half-rack 10x10, 24-bit/96kHz audio interface drawing power directly from a 6-pin FireWire port for ultimate portability. The unit is also capable of an amazing 6 in, 6 out at 24-bit/192kHz. It offers 8x8 analog I/O with two phantom mic preamps, Stereo Optical S/P DIF I/O, MIDI I/O, and 1/4" headphone output with built in direct through mixing capabilities for low latency monitoring. The FA-101 offers an incredible 108 dB (typ) SN ratio on output. It has been designed to offer the most important tools for multitrack recording to mobile musicians and sound artists.
