Electric Rain Inc. on Wednesday issued Swift 3D 4.5, the latest version of its standalone application that enables users to build vector-based 3D animations for Macromedia Flash. This update adds the ability to create raster-based 3D animations; export to Flash Video, QuickTime, AVI and other formats; support for using Swift 3D with Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro and other video editing and effects tools; faster render speeds; pen style outlines; and more.
Upgrades from Swift 3D 4.0 are US$79 while upgrades from versions 2.0 and 3.0, as well as Swift 3D Xpress, are $129. The full software is $229. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2, a 400MHz processor, 128MB RAM and 25MB free hard drive space.
