Farewell To Wes George, Check Him Out At MacWeek

It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Wes George today as he is moving to a new position at MacWeek. Wes joined The Mac Observer in October of 1998 as our second columnist under the new management. In fact, he joined our staff when we were still known as Webintosh. His focus has always been Appleis stock, but he soon began to cover other issues related to Appleis business affairs, finally taking over the position of Business Editor.

For the past year, Wes has penned our daily Apple Stock Watch and managed our ill-timed Apple Stock Watch Virtual Portfolio in addition to writing his weekly Apple Trader column. In the process, he managed to ruffle a few feathers here and there, but he also educated many of us about what was really going on with AAPL.

While we are sad to see him leave, we are quite happy about his new opportunity. He will be joining the staff at MacWeek as a contributing editor covering Appleis financial news. We wish him the best of luck with his new endeavor.
