Feral Interactive on Friday announced that it will publish Lionhead Studiosi The Movies for the Mac. Based on a concept by well-known game designer Peter Molyneux, The Movies is a sim/strategy title that lets players build and control their own motion picture studios, competing with other moguls to rule the box office.
Gamers not only develop original films and determine release strategies, as well as develop new technology, but also get behind the camera as director or play talent agent. Or both. Players even get to look for raw talent and manage their nascent careers, as well as burgeoning egos.
Feral will ship The Movies this summer as a Universal application. System requirements and pricing were not released.
