FileMaker Planning Big Announcement?

FileMaker Inc. is planning a special press event for Monday, May 14th. FileMaker Inc. is the software company responsible for the popular FileMaker Pro database software. While there are no details available, FileMaker is expected to announce, among other things, their plans for Mac OS X. According to a FileMaker press release:


WHAT: FileMaker invites media and analysts to a teleconference announcing new software for workgroups on more platforms than ever: Mac OS X, Windows 2000, Linux, i-mode, Pocket PC, and more.

WHEN: 10 a.m. PDT (1 p.m. EDT), Monday, May 14, 2001.

WHERE: Media and analysts in the U.S. and Canada may call (877) 237-2059; international number: (706) 645-9106. Please ask for the FileMaker conference, ID # 240695. Questions and answers will follow a brief presentation.
