Fresh off of last weekis Comdex show, FireWire Depot has announced a host of new FireWire related products. Among the highlights are a mini 3 port hub, and a new 2.5" drive enclosure. According to FireWire Depot:
FireWire Depot (FWDepot), an online supplier and manufacturers rep. of FireWire/1394/iLink products and peripherals, displayed new FireWire/1394 products at Comdex last week. These products include the following:
- newly designed 2.5" HDD enclosure
- C-Clamp connectors for their 2.5" and 3.5" HDD enclosures
- low profile 3 port PCI host adapter
- 4.5M cable with built-in repeater
- mini 3 port FireWire hub/repeater
- combo FireWire/USB PCI host adapter
Information on these new products will be added to the FWDepot website this week, and all products will be available for sale either prior to Christmas or at the FWDepot Booth (#4700) at MacWorld San Francisco via their online store. FWDepot will also be introducing other new products at MacWorld SF including:
- BridgeIt? - FireWire to SCSI converter that will support up to seven SCSI devices
- DV PlayGround - AV/DV converter box to allow users to plug in their old analog video cameras and convert analog to digital video.
